A Muslim man drops his prayer rug on the floor in the middle of a busy airport. It’s prayer time, and this is the Middle East. Nothing unusual here.
But then you start to look a little more closely at the man’s surroundings and a shocking reality sets in.
This airport is not situated in a Muslim nation.
But, if it’s in the Middle East, then where could it be? Why, it’s in Israel!
Ok, fair enough. But a Muslim Arab doing the whole prayer thing surrounding by Israeli Jews, including a LOT of armed Israeli Jews (this is an airport, after all)?
Weren’t we told that Israel is an apartheid state that discriminates against Muslims and Arabs?
